Collaboration between teachers and parents requires, first and foremost, mutual recognition as individuals with an educational responsibility. Recognising each other, however, presupposes that the interlocutors place themselves in a listening position that is not always part of their personal 'willingness' or, even, to which they deliberately resist. The development and cultivation of authentic collaboration between school and family requires teachers and parents to exercise educational responsibility. This path must be supported and accompanied by professional figures and second level training practices which, in the proposal of this contribution, are identified respectively in the school educationalist and in the practice of educational counselling.

Abstract
Collaboration between teachers and parents requires, first and foremost, mutual recognition as individuals with an educational responsibility. Recognising each other, however, presupposes that the interlocutors place themselves in a listening position that is not always part of their personal 'willingness' or, even, to which they deliberately resist. The development and cultivation of authentic collaboration between school and family requires teachers and parents to exercise educational responsibility. This path must be supported and accompanied by professional figures and second level training practices which, in the proposal of this contribution, are identified respectively in the school educationalist and in the practice of educational counselling.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
