In this essay the authoress describes her discovery of the four volumes of the only translation into Italian of "De iure belli ac pacis" by Grotius. This important work has been translated into Italian by an unknown Neapolitan lawyer: Antonio Porpora. Porpora´s translation has been discovered by the authoress in the ancient Library of the Faculty of Theology "San Tommaso d´Aquino" in Naples. She describes in this essay the content of the translation that, for a precise reason, does not cover the whole original text from Grotius.
In questo contributo si annuncia la scoperta fatta dall´autrice dell´unica traduzione italiana del "De iure belli ac pacis" di Grozio, elaborata dall´avvocato napoletano Antonio Porpora. Il testo e´stato rinvenuto in fomrma completa ( quattro volumi) presso la Biblioteca della Facolta´Teologica di Napoli "San Tommaso d´Aquino". L´autrice descrive il contenuto della traduzione groziana, che non riguarda tutto il testo originale, per una ragione specifica .
