The corpus of the Latin hagiography written in Umbria during the High Middle Ages is constituted by a large number of texts, quite well analysed since the end of the XIX Century, but very seldom on the linguistic and stylistic point of view. These texts are often related one another, because often the hagiographers did use the works of other Umbrian collegues. This study, using the “logiciel” of textual research Hyperbase, and the data-bases of the project Mediolatinitas du LASLA (Laboratoire d’Analyse Statistique des Langues Anciennes, University of Liège) does study the language of a (small) group of Umbrian hagiographies, and summarizes it in a large series of statistical graphics and tables. The results of the inquiry are very useful also on the plain of the authorship and the datation of the texts.

Abstract
The results of the inquiry are very useful also on the plain of the authorship and the datation of the texts.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
