Complex systems can be studied both here and now both in their evolution in a given period. On this basis, this paper intends to decline on a diachronic and in the context of teaching the concept of vicariance identified on the synchronic by Alain Berthoz in living organisms (Bertohz, 2011). Principles and properties “simplexities” can indeed be analyzed on the basis of a methodology analog intensive, such as regulatory instruments of education systems (Sibilio, 2013). It also will advance the hypothesis of enriching the tools to decipher the complexity provided by Berthoz integrating the so-called principle of ex-aptation (Gould and Vrba, 1982).
