Abstract
Moving from the analysis of social transformations related to the diffusion of new communication and information technologies, the paper focuses on the educational opportunities offered by the model of the Network. Highlighting a limitation in those pedagogies that are aimed at strengthening the capacity of access and permanence of the individual 'nodes' and a kind of myopia that leads people to feel satisfied with the mere contact, the paper proposes a transition to pedagogies that will enhance the ability to build spaces of encounter. This idea is at the root of a proposal of a cosmopolitan education that is not limited to education to tolerance of differences, but supports the development of the ability to inhabit the spaces of the border, i.e. to inhabit the link that connects one node to another, transforming the space that separate the 'nodes' of the Network in a space of encounter and ’getting into shape.’I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
