Starting from the analysis of the historian and political expert Pierre Rosanvallon on the crisis of democracy, today we are observing a sort of paradox: the growth of democracies as regimes corresponds to a decrease in democracy as a form of society. Social inequalities are increasing, thereby producing a silent decomposition of social bonds, and of the solidarity, at the same time it is not just a matter of delineating a link between democracy and solidarity, but rather identifying in the solidarity a real sign to keep defining a political system as “democratic”, and to get recognized in it.

Abstract
Starting from the analysis of the historian and political expert Pierre Rosanvallon on the crisis of democracy, today we are observing a sort of paradox: the growth of democracies as regimes corresponds to a decrease in democracy as a form of society. Social inequalities are increasing, thereby producing a silent decomposition of social bonds, and of the solidarity, at the same time it is not just a matter of delineating a link between democracy and solidarity, but rather identifying in the solidarity a real sign to keep defining a political system as “democratic”, and to get recognized in it.File in questo prodotto:
