Abstract The diffusion of the performing arts requires own forms of patterns, languages, techniques and practices. This would seem quite inexplicable in light of the a logical-formal analysis on the elements of theatrical representation that could be associated with a non-linear experience in the context of research on actions and relationships. Analogies to this reverberate in other human activities: e.g. didactics. The paper analyses a specific area of educational research on the topic of performing arts. In more specific terms, the essay deals with the recursive relationship between arts and science. It highlights the relationship between teaching of the performing arts and comments on the emerging factors within the autobiographical context of the teacher and the student, as well as the relationship between actor and spectators. The essay reconsiders the meaning of training teaching skills in a divergent framework enriched by research of the performing arts: systemizing these two areas of human action in an open and permeable form in order to integrate complementary cultures.
