STEREOTIPI DI GENERE TRA MIGRAZIONI, TERRORISMO E ISLAM. LA PERCEZIONE DEL RAZZISMO E DELLA DISCRIMINAZIONE FRA IMMIGRATE SOMALE A NAPOLI

The article is divided into two parts and intends to investigate the complex issue of the relationship of gender, migration, Islam and terrorism. In the first part, the focus is on historical and social imaginaries and on how they relate to the perception of security and the production of security rhetoric, in order to reconstruct the framework for the field analysis. In the second part, the aim is to reflect on the stereotyped representations of Muslim womanhood, intertwined with the problem of terrorism and media resonance, starting from a research investigation of the experiences and the perception of forms of neo-racism, Islamophobia and discrimination among women of Somali origin living in the city of Naples.

L’articolo, diviso in due parti, intende approfondire la complessa questione del rapporto tra, genere, migrazioni, islam e terrorismo. In particolare, nella prima parte, si ci concentra sugli immaginari storici e sociali mettendoli in relazione con la percezione della sicurezza e la produzione delle retoriche securitarie, ricostruendo così il quadro di riferimento per l’analisi di campo. Nella seconda parte si intende riflettere sulle rappresentazioni stereotipate della donna musulmana, intrecciate alla problematica del terrorismo e alla sua risonanza in ambito mediatico, a partire da una ricerca tesa a indagare le esperienze e la percezione di forme di neo-razzismo, islamofobia e discriminazione fra donne di origine somala residenti nella città di Napoli.
