The essay reports about a project meant at creating a course in English as a foreign language within the Campusone project. The product is one of the first blended courses, perhaps the first in Italy in the field of foreign language teaching. It is the result of collaboration between Italian researchers and British ones, all active in the field of ELT. The four parts of the essay report about the different steps, the rationale behind it, the overall scheme resulting from planning and work distribution, the project and creation of the learning objects, the technical requirements and the technical implementation.
