La traduzione nell'era del digitale

The digital age has brought a whole series of changes and tools that are influencing the world of translation. This article will analyse the importance of professional and amateur captioning of flow series, in particular those realized by Netflix, to show how professional subtitling is increasingly accompanied by sub-titles, amateur titration, called fansubbing, which has consequences on the work of the translators and on the choices of the series directors. The article will also make it possible to think theoretically about the relationship between subtitling and translation, series subtitling being a fairly recent field of reflection and research.
