This paper sets out to discuss the links between translation and language pedagogy, focusing on translated literature, in particular, and suggesting how the use of ‘Young Literature’ in translation in the Foreign Language (FL) class could benefit the learners. Our analysis will be carried out with the help of practical examples drawn from our own personal experience at University level in an Italian context.
