Re-education courses in prisons represent a real pedagogical challenge in that it is necessary to offer training opportunities that are bothtransformative and self-formative, supporting individuals along thepath that will allow them to realise themselves as persons who, starting from self-awareness, are able to implement significant changes forthemselves and for the entire social context in which they live.It is not simply a matter of structuring paths to social inclusion, butrather of offering opportunities for integral training, valuing first andforemost the centrality and dignity of the person.
