)e relationship between pedagogy and philosophy is ancient and arises when education becomes something necessary for all citizens who must make political decisions relating to city life. )e same problem arises in critical pedagogy in the twentieth century which, starting from Marx’s concept of education as in Gramsci’s analysis, highlights the importance of culture in social dynamics. Once again, at the heart of this concept lies the philosophical idea of integral education, a path that, by reconnecting individuals with their fellow human beings, should enable them to participate consciously and freely in civic life.
